Educational & Professional Qualifications:
Option A (Primary Requirement):

  • Specialization: FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in Urology from PMC/PMDC recognized institution

Option B (Alternative – if no candidate with Option A available):

  • MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC/PMC
  • Postgraduate Qualification: FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in General Surgery
  • Plus: 3 years post-graduation practical experience specifically in Urology from recognized institute

Mandatory Registration:

  • Valid PM&DC/PMC registration required until closing date (06 January 2026)
  • If expired, proof of renewal application before closing date required

Experience Requirements:
Track 1 (Associate Professor Pathway):

  • Three (03) years teaching experience as Associate Professor in Urology recognized by PM&DC/PMC
  • Total Experience Condition: Combined teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor must be minimum 08 years

Track 2 (Assistant Professor Pathway):

  • Nine (09) years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in Urology in recognized institution
  • Research Requirement: At least 5 research papers published in standard medical journals while working as Assistant/Associate Professor

Research Paper Specifications:

  • Only original articles published in recognized journals indexed by PMC/PubMed/Index Medicus/Excerpta Medica/Embase
  • Not Acceptable: Review articles, case studies, translations, briefs, conference papers, editorials
  • Online published research in recognized foreign journals accepted
  • Journals must provide recognition list by PMC/PMDC
